Gainsborough In Bloom is delighted to announce the results of this year's entries were as follows:

  • Large Town Entry – Silver Award with an increased score of 70 points.
  • The Special Award went to Amanda Clarke for her work across the allotments in Gainsborough, encouraging community participation in growing.
  • Best Retail Park entry – Marshalls Yard GOLD award with a score of 87.
  • Best Pub/Hotel entry – Hickman Hill Hotel GOLD award with a score of 90.
  • The icing on the cake was both Marshalls Yard and Hickman Hill Hotel were shortlisted for the best entry in their categories and BOTH WON!

Rob and Dot Ewens – owners of Hickman Hill Hotel who achieved a Gold award and were outright winners of the Best pub/hotel category in the East Midlands.

Amanda Clarke – who was given the judges award for her work across the allotments in Gainsborough, encouraging community participation in growing.
